Central Coast Seafood was honored by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce with a 2009 Green Award for their sustainability work. Central Coast Seafood is not only a progressive leader in the sustainable seafood movement, but also uses reusable packaging for their products and biodiesel in their delivery vehicles.

Central Coast Seafood was the first FishWise distributor partner and has been actively engaged in a public seafood sustainability campaign since 2008. Since joining FishWise, Central Coast Seafood has committed to decreasing the sale of unsustainable products, increasing the number of green, sustainable items they offer, and providing transparent information about the environmental impacts of all of their seafood to their clients.
